This is a blog to share and network information about massage in schools. The project has been running for a number of years, and there have been 19 training sessions in Scotland.

Hallo,
As a concerned parent on the introduction to MISP in schools, I would like to ask the following questions and hopefully receive a reply
1) Is this massage linked to any holistic therapies, and which ones and is it holistic therapy
2) Are visualisation techniques taught at the same time
3) What exactly takes place during the massages. ie give me an axample of the proceedure in details as well as any words uttered.
Thanks

Hi John If you download the leaflet, it will give you more info. MIS is not a therapy, its a positive touch programme, with proven benefits. If its being introduced to your child’s school, please ask them for more information, plus a practical demonstration or to watch a promotional video. Its important that parents have all the info they need, before agreeing for their child to take part. Hope that helps. Please get back to us if you need further info
